"I am delighted to share my photographic walk through history in the nation's capitol. Each time I stand before a new testament to the creativity America is founded upon, I am overwhelmed with awe of the extraordinary artworks that emerged from Freedom of Expression." "I feel my ability to uncover foundations the country can be proud of arises from my combined trainings as an illustrator and investigator. I embarked on this photographic project with no preconceived notions of what I might see or would see. By being open to patient exploration, research of what I continue to uncover, I have gained understanding of my opportunity to present history, as it was, rather than as it is being rewritten by individual protests, continues." Devorah continues, "My pictorials are the best argument for honoring our traditions, our heritages, our history... We are, after all, the People, for the People. I am a graduate of Pratt Institute. My influences were teachers who taught me to dream as easy as I breathe and then to let go and let my fingers create the masterpieces I manifest in my mind. I ask these most important questions. Without the Freedom to Express my art and my faith as one, where would I be today? Without Freedom to Believe and to Concieve, where would America be without the arts of song and dance and art on the walls of our Nation's Capitol be? I can tell you. We would be a country without beauty with no hope for tomorrows."
